Common work on Volvo trucks

I-Shift automated transmission

Transmission fault codes, clutch calibration and shifting issues on I-Shift.

D13 derate and aftertreatment

NOx sensors, DEF doser, incomplete regens and a plugged DPF are common causes of derate on the D13.

Turbo Compound and cooling

On the D13 TC, we check the turbo compound unit, turbo, EGR valve and cooling system when power drops or the engine runs hot.

Electrical and multiplex

Short tracing, batteries, alternator and electronic modules on late-model VNL and VNR trucks.

FAQ

Are you a Volvo dealer?

No. CM Montréal is an independent shop that repairs Volvo trucks with the right diagnostic tools, as an alternative to the dealership.

Do you work on older Volvo VNs with the D12?

Yes, we still service older VNs. Call us with the year and VIN so we can confirm parts availability.

My VNL is in derate. What should I do?

Write down the fault code and call 514 700-7413. Derate often comes from the DPF / SCR / DEF system, which we diagnose in the shop.
